Requirement

Aditya Birla Group is a USD 28 billion company with over 100,000 employees (comprising over 25 nationalities) across the globe. The requirement was for a corporate award website that would deliver the image of a company that was the "Best Employer in India and among the Top 20 in Asia" in 2007. The brand image and the rich heritage of the company needed to be consistent and in tune with the expectations of the internal and external customers of the company, globally.
   

Project Brief

The requirement was to create a portal about the Awards for Outstanding Achievement within the group. This portal would be the repository of information about the awards; the institution and spirit of the award, the heritage and past winners, the selection process and feedback to better the entire event. This portal would ensure that there was no barrier to the information flow about the awards within the group.
   

Technical

The solution was an uncluttered, intuitive website in line with the corporate image of the Aditya Birla Group. This website provided holistic information about the Awards for Outstanding Achievement at the group. The Awards celebrate the spirit of outstanding achievement benchmarked globally, free information sharing, superior team work, and long term inspirational value created by the Group's business and various business units. The website also provided role based differential access to information and hence ensured that while there was no barrier to the required information flow; at the same time, the security and confidentiality of information was also maintained.
   

Completion

The website had to work seamlessly on the local intranet as well as the internet. Parts of the information had to be secure and confidential. The final solution was a Flash based interactive and engaging website.
