Requirement

Aditya Birla group is a USD 28 billion company with over 100,000 employees (comprising over 25 nationalities) across the globe.

   

Project Brief

The requirement was for a web based induction module that new joinees could use to familiarize themselves with the group company. The solution had to be so designed so as to give the learners an overview of the group, specifics about their role and their department. The solution also needed to be engaging using elements of self discovery to engage the user.
   

Technical

The WITS design team came up with a blueprint for a module that would use 3D renderings of the actual offices of the Aditya Birla group. The content was chunked into an Overview Section, a department and role specific section and end of the course assessments. The solution is integrated into the company wide HRIS and LMS systems. This enables role based and department based access to the user who sees only those parts of the course that are relevant to his role. Assessments are used to test the learners' knowledge at each test and the user can only access content to a section; if his knowledge of the previous section is up to mark.
   

Completion

The WITS team developed an immersive solution that delivered the "learner takeaways" in a lucid, fun way.
