Requirement

N. L. Dalmia Institute of Management Studies and Research (N. L. Dalmia) is a leading management institute offering various acclaimed courses in Management. Many of these courses are accredited with commendation from the business industry and are also affiliated to the University of Mumbai.

The client brings out a yearly publication to connect with its students, faculty, alumni and the business industry. The publication carries a message from the client and highlights the achievements and innovations that have occurred at its campus. It also emphasizes on the placement offers that students of the institute have received in that academic year.

Project Brief

The project brief covered the creation of a booklet that would inform the readers about the various aspects of life at the institute. It would focus on the placement options that the students have received after completing their academic curriculum.

The booklet created by us builds upon the core philosophy of the client – of spreading knowledge and becoming aware. It uses soothing colours along with meaningful graphics which convey the idea of the client’s philosophy in a beneficial way to the readers. The Sun as a metaphor of spreading knowledge finds itself in prominence throughout the booklet. Various charts and pie diagrams have been recreated to provide a three dimensional effect. The placement section illustrates the use of sleek graphics to add to the feel and effect of the publication.
