Requirement

The client requirement was for an e-learning module for its new drug Dronedarone (marketed as Multaq). This product training module was intended to teach the users (Sanofi sales executives) about the molecular compostion of the drug, the way the drug worked in the human body and its advantages as compared to the similar drugs available in the market.
   

Project Brief

The project brief covered the development of e-learning content covering 2D images, 3D models and animations emphasizing the advantages of the drug.
   

Technical

The WITS team created a detailed, yet simple to understand Flash based course:

The Player has the following features:

  • Table of Contents to view all the course contents and navigate to any of them.
  • Navigation buttons (Play, Pause, Next, Back & Replay)
  • Volume Control

As the course contained 3D models as well as animations, the file size had to be streamlined to ensure that the course was easy to load and run. On the integration side, the course was broken into smaller files. The course was thus split into modules, topics and frames. One file was created for each frame. This ensured the ease of updation and modification of the course. The navigation flow of the Player was from an XML file. We will be developed the course using Flash.

- Minimum requirement: Internet Explorer 6.0 or any other compatible browser with 800x600 resolution.

- Minimum machine configuration requirment: Pentium – 1 Ghz with 512 MB RAM

- The default window size will be 1024x768.
   

Completion

The first design for the interface was chosen by the client.
